<span>Day 01</span> Arrival in Kolkata + Local Sightseeing

  • Welcome to Kolkata! Upon arrival at the airport/railway station, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

  • In the afternoon, begin your divine journey with a visit to:

    • Kalighat Kali Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. It's believed the toes of Goddess Sati fell here.

      • (Temple closed from 2 PM to 5 PM, so plan accordingly.)

    • Then, visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, a beautiful riverside temple dedicated to Goddess Kali.

    • Conclude the day at the tranquil Belur Math, the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission.

  • Overnight stay in Kolkata.

<span>Day 02</span> Kolkata – Bargabhima Temple – Bhramari Shaktipeeth – Return to Kolkata

  • Post breakfast, embark on a spiritual road trip:

    • Bargabhima Temple, located in Tamluk (approx. 90 km/2.5 hrs). It is said to be the place where Sati's left ankle fell.

    • From there, proceed to Bhramari Shaktipeeth (Maa Malai Chandi Temple) in Amta (approx. 55 km/1.5 hrs).

  • Late afternoon, return to Kolkata (approx. 55 km/1.5 hrs).

  • Overnight stay in Kolkata.

<span>Day 03</span> Kolkata to Burdwan + Local Temples Tour

  • Early morning checkout and transfer to Burdwan (approx. 110 km/3 hrs).

  • Visit:

    • Maa Jogadya Temple at Kshirgram (50 km/1.5 hrs).

    • Next, head to Bahula Shaktipeeth at Ketugram (35 km/1 hr from Kshirgram), believed to be where Sati's left arm fell.

    • Conclude temple visits with Attohas Satipeeth (approx. 8.5 km/30 mins).

  • In late afternoon:

    • Explore the 108 Shiv Mandir complex (open 4 PM to 9 PM).

    • Visit Sarbamangala Temple (6.5 km/20 mins).

<span>Day 04</span> Ujaani Shaktipeeth + Dhakeswari Kali Temple (Kalna)

    • Later, drive to Dhakeswari Kali Mata Temple in Kalna (approx. 125 km/3.5 hrs).

<span>Day 05</span> Burdwan to Bolpur + Sightseeing

  • Post breakfast, transfer to Bolpur (Shantiniketan) – approx. 60 km/1.5 hrs.

  • Afternoon visits include:

    • Vishwabharati University Campus (founded by Rabindranath Tagore).

    • Tagore Museum (closed on Wednesdays & Thursdays).

    • Kankalitala Temple, a revered Shaktipeeth.

  • After breakfast, journey to Bakreshwar (60 km/2.5 hrs).

    • Known for its hot springs and spiritual legends associated with Ashtavakra Muni and Lord Shiva.

    • Mahishmardini Temple, another Shaktipeeth.

    • Shiva Temple and natural hot springs.

  • Later, transfer to Tarapith (69.2 km/2.5 hrs).

  • Early morning darshan at Tarapith Temple, one of the most powerful Shaktipeeths, dedicated to Goddess Tara.

    • Nalateswari Temple (25 km/50 mins) – where Sati's throat (nala) fell.

    • Kiriteshwari Temple (approx. 55 km/1.5 hrs) – believed to be the site where Sati’s crown (mukut) fell.

  • Drop at Berhampore (20 km/45 mins).

  • Overnight stay in Berhampore.

<span>Day 08</span> Berhampore – Nandikeshwari Temple – Return to Kolkata

  • After checkout, head to:

    • Nandikeshwari Temple in Sainthia (approx. 75 km/2 hrs), where Sati's necklace is believed to have fallen.

  • Later, continue drive back to Kolkata (approx. 195 km/4.5 hrs).

  • Overnight stay in Kolkata.
