1. General Policy

  • kolkatacitytour.com provides service-based travel products only, including tour packages, hotel bookings, transport services, city tours, excursions, and guide services.

  • Cancellation charges are calculated on the total booking value, not on the advance amount paid.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.


2. Tour Package & Hotel Booking Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation charges apply for tour packages and hotel bookings:

  • More than 60 days before departure:
    ✔️ Booking amount is refundable

  • 31 to 60 days before departure:
    50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation

  • 30 days or less before departure:
    100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation


3. City Tour & Excursion / Day Tour Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges for city tours, excursions, and day tours are as follows:

  • Before reconfirmation (7 days prior to date of arrival):
     Initial deposit of ₹1,000 per pax is non-refundable

  • After reconfirmation:
    30% of the total service cost will be charged

  • More than 5 days prior to date of arrival:
    50% of the total service cost will be charged

  • More than 3 days prior to date of arrival:
    75% of the total service cost will be charged

  • More than 24 hours prior to time of arrival:
    90% of the total service cost will be charged

  • Less than 24 hours prior to time of arrival / No-show:
    100% of the total service cost will be charged


4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only after deducting cancellation charges.

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment.

  • Refund processing time may take 7–14 working days, depending on banks and payment gateways.


5. Company-Initiated Cancellation

  • If kolkatacitytour.com / Impression Tourism Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. cancels a tour or service due to unavoidable reasons (operational issues, safety concerns, force majeure, etc.), a full refund will be applicable.

  • No cancellation charges will be deducted in such cases.


6. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Weather conditions

  • Strikes or transport disruptions

Refunds in such cases will be subject to supplier policies.
